Dayspring S.M.A.R.T (Science, Math, Art, Research, Technology) Afterschool Program

The Dayspring SMART (Science, Math, Art, Research, and Technology) Afterschool Program provides structured learning activities that focus on the acquisition and development of skills, attitudes, and behaviors important to academic as well as life success. Our science, art, and technology programs offer students the opportunity to investigate a wide range of awesome topics, including:

electromagnetism

cooking
plant and animal biology
electricity
the human body
quilting
astronomy
web design
filmmaking
mural painting
animation
This program is designed for children in grades 4 through 8 and operates during afterschool hours, 2 days/week, 2½ hours per day during Dayspring’s fall and spring program sessions. Activities designed to support children’s development of social, emotional, and spiritual understandings are also an integral part of the program.
